It has been 6 weeks since Pete passed away - lots of things have happened since then - I had my 50th Birthday on the 9th but didn't feel like celebrating it because I felt guilty, just had a quiet meal with the family, we had a toast to you Pete and a cry, more importantly talked about you, and how much you would have enjoyed it. We saw your picture on the wall in the golf club, and Michael was late when we left because he was saying 'bye' to you. Young Pete had his 25th Birthday and we went to your house to have a curry, he was lovely and is so protective of his Mum. Christmas is just round the corner and Mum & Dad are coming to me, it will just be a quiet one i'm sure. Mum wants to go to mignight mass on Christmas Eve, so I'll go with her and we will light a candle for you. I know you are with us in spirit, and talk to you all the time. Miss you my big brother and am struggling to accept that we are not going to see you again, but I believe that you are in Gods Kingdom and we will all be together again one day. I'm sure it will get better - Just still feels raw at the moment. XX
