The kids grew up - fast as they do, Andrea got married, but she used to speak to her Dad every single day - even if it was to say 'Love You'. Despite Pete's tough guy outside, he was a real big softie at heart. Young Pete as we still call him was a chip off the old block and looked (and still does)look just like his Dad. Pete was more than a Dad, he was a friend to his kids and was their biggest protector. Just before Andrea's wedding, they moved up onto the 18th Fairway - close to the golf club. By this time Pete was playing golf and in 1999 was eventually asked to be Captain, he was so proud of his green blazer - and made a brilliant Captain - there were so many good dinners we all went to - as usual Pete had to have everyone in fits of laughter and always be the joker - he just wanted to make everyone laugh and be happy. We all celebrated the Millenium at Pete & Wendy's house and took loads of photos' it was a great night and one that I dont think anyone will forget, as the fireworks went off outside we all stood outside ......Memories are the best thing in the world.
