Pete, Wendy & Andrea moved house to an estate near Copley baths - quite a trendy estate too !!! Only trouble was that the drive and front of the house were always full of cars - he was always doing jobs on other peoples cars, he loved it and didn't look upon it as work - he got so much pleasure from it. He also worked as a mechanic at Kerfoots, and was the only one in the garage who was allowed to touch the big bosses Rolls Royce - I remember going into the garage on more than one occassion and there would be nuts, bolts engine parts, allsorts all over the place - but I tell you what - he knew exactly where they went every single time !! That is how special he was with anything mechanical - self taught as well.
